Building Surveys

An RICS Condition Report (Level 1) provides you with a professional account of the property’s condition on the date of inspection, helping you to be confident in the home that you are buying. As the least detailed survey type you can choose, it gives a basic overview; no advice or valuation is provided in this survey.

The HomeBuyer Survey (Level 2) is a visual inspection of the property to evaluate the overall condition of the building and highlight any obvious defects. The report will help the buyer make a reasoned and informed judgement on whether or not to proceed with the purchase

​Usually recommended for buildings over 70-80 years old, or with significant historical damage, our Building Survey (Level 3) will give you a greater explanation of any defects along with recommendations for remedial action.

A Schedule of Condition Report is a detailed written and photographic record of a property’s condition. The report is undertaken prior to neighbouring works being carried out, and acts as a form of protection for all parties, or adhered to a lease to provide the landlord with protection against any claim for future repairs or damage to a property.
